This pistol replica, with a metal body and wooden grip, simulates loading and firing mechanisms and includes a removable magazine.

The Parabellum pistol or model 1908 (P08), more commonly known as the Luger, is a recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol. It managed to remain in use despite the restrictions imposed by the Treaty of Versailles. Unlike the external slide found in most other semi-automatic pistols, it uses an internal slide system operated by an articulated toggle joint.

It was designed by Georg Luger in 1898 and produced by the German arms factory Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) starting in 1900. During its service life, the Luger P08 was manufactured by different producers, and more than a million of these legendary pistols were produced. It became a significant turning point in the history of short-barreled firearms.

Although the first models were produced in 7.65×21 mm Parabellum caliber, the 1908 model gained fame as the pistol specifically developed for the 9×19 mm Parabellum cartridge. The name “Parabellum” comes from the Latin phrase “Si vis pacem, para bellum” (“If you want peace, prepare for war”).

The Parabellum Luger pistol gained great fame through its use by Germany during the First and Second World Wars and became one of the most sought-after pistols by soldiers throughout the 20th century.
